Soundproofing Materials

The use and correct selection of soundproofing materials is determined by the noise level we are dealing with and where this noise level is coming from. If the unwanted noise is coming from outside the room or from the structure we are looking to soundproof, barrier soundproofing technology should be used. If the noise is coming from inside the room, sound absorption technology should be used. In some cases, it may be necessary to use both barrier and sound absorption technology to absorb excess energy in the room and prevent this energy from leaking into adjacent structures.
